The Inventis Timpani is a middle ear analyser designed to provide rapid and accurate assessment thanks to its automatic 226 Hz tympanometry. With its ear canal-compensated display mode, single scan, choice of pressure ranges (+200 to –400 daPa or +100 to –300 daPa) and Auto Start function, it guarantees consistent measurements in all clinical conditions.

The Inventis Timpani tympanometer can integrate an ipsilateral acoustic reflex test, using a pulsed stimulus to reduce artefacts. The device offers automatic or fixed intensity modes, with automatic pressure calibration between the tympanometric peak and the width of the tympanogram. The available stimuli cover frequencies from 500 Hz to 4000 Hz, with levels from 70 to 100 dB HL depending on the mode.

Timpani by Inventis: tympanometry and screening audiometry in a compact format

The Inventis Timpani can also integrate screening tonal audiometry (AC only), compatible with DD45 headphones or ER-3C inserts. It covers a wide range of frequencies (125 Hz to 8 kHz) with intensities ranging from –10 to 100 dB HL depending on the transducer. Its 2.8″ TFT colour touchscreen, lithium-ion battery offering over 4 hours of continuous use, driverless USB interface and compatibility with Inventis Maestro software make it a versatile tool. Compact (65 × 44 × 240 mm) and lightweight (340 g), it facilitates mobile examinations.
