The Piccolo Basic Inventis is an audiometer dedicated to pure tone audiometry (PTA – AC) testing. Designed for hearing professionals, it connects easily to any Windows computer via a driverless USB interface, ensuring immediate compatibility with Inventis Daisy and Maestro for Noah software. Its sleek design and small footprint allow it to fit easily into any clinical environment, while providing reliable operation for routine audiometric testing.

Piccolo Basic Audiometer by Inventis: PC or iPad control and signal types

The Piccolo Basic can also be controlled from an iPad via a Bluetooth 4 connection when the Aero option is installed. It offers two signal types — pure tone and warble tone — with attenuation control in 5 dB steps and continuous or pulsed presentations at 0.5, 1 or 2 Hz. Compliant with Type 4 classification, it meets the requirements for professional hearing screening.

The Piccolo Basic is compatible with several air conduction transducers, including TDH-39 headphones and ER-3A and ER-5A inserts. Its extremely compact size (16 × 16 × 3 cm) and weight of 300 g make it easy to transport and quick to set up.
