GIMA FC 700 Foetal Monitor

The GIMA FC 700 Foetal Monitor is a reliable and accurate medical device designed to monitor foetal heart rate and uterine contractions. Using Doppler ultrasound technology, it measures and records essential parameters of foetal well-being throughout pregnancy. Designed for professional use, it offers an intuitive LED interface, A4 paper printing and an automatic CTG analysis function. The Gima FC 700 ensures clear and continuous assessment of foetal and maternal signals, facilitating prenatal examinations in maternity and gynaecology departments.

The GIMA FC 700 Foetal Monitor is a professional foetal monitor designed to measure, display and record foetal heart rate (FHR), uterine contractions (UC) and foetal movements. Using 1 MHz pulsed Doppler ultrasound technology , it captures the frequency signal reflected by the foetal heart and converts it into accurate digital data. This information is then displayed on an LED screen and recorded on large-format thermal paper. The device also provides the sound of the foetal heartbeat, allowing for real-time auditory assessment.

The FC 700 is intended for use by trained medical personnel in hospitals or clinics. It facilitates non-stress tests (NST) and cardiotocographic (CTG) recordings for comprehensive foetal health monitoring.

Comprehensive monitoring and intuitive interface of the Gima FC 700

The Gima FC 700 offers a simple and ergonomic interface: its control panel includes dedicated buttons for volume, printing and alarm configuration. The LED screen simultaneously displays the foetal heart rate, uterine contraction value and alarm status. Separate indicator lights (green and red) signal the stability of the heart signal. The device can be used with special thermal paper or standard fax paper, making it economical and convenient to maintain.

The device incorporates a high-resolution thermal recorder (8 × 10 dots/mm) capable of printing at an adjustable speed of 1, 2 or 3 cm/min. AUTO NST mode allows automatic acquisition over a predefined period, while continuous monitoring mode facilitates prolonged monitoring. An audible alarm system alerts the user if FHR thresholds are exceeded or if there is no paper.
