Getemed VitaGuard VG 3100 Vital Signs Monitor

The Getemed VitaGuard VG 3100 Vital Signs Monitor designed to monitor oxygen saturation (SpO₂), heart rate and respiration in patients of all ages. With visual and audible alarms, extensive memory and ease of use, it offers optimal safety in clinical and ambulatory environments. Lightweight and compact, it incorporates technologies such as Masimo SET® for reliable oxygenation measurement. Its USB connectivity and VitaWin® software enable in-depth analysis of recorded data, ensuring accurate and continuous monitoring of the patient’s physiological status.

The Getemed VitaGuard VG 3100 Vital Signs Monitor is a medical monitoring device designed to meet the requirements of healthcare professionals and carers, both in hospitals and in home care. This compact and lightweight monitor (approx. 700 g) combines the monitoring of three essential physiological parameters: oxygen saturation (SpO₂), heart rate and respiration. It is suitable for all age groups, from newborns to adults, ensuring maximum versatility.

The VG 3100 uses Masimo Signal Extraction Technology (SET®), recognised for its accuracy in measuring oxygen saturation, even in the presence of movement or low perfusion. In the event of central apnoea (absence of breathing or movement for a predefined period of time), or when SpO₂ or heart rate values exceed the configured thresholds, the monitor triggers visual and audible alarms. It also issues technical alerts in the event of disconnection of the electrodes or the SpO₂ sensor.

One of the major advantages of the VG 3100 is its storage capacity. It can record more than 400 physiological events, with measured values, associated waveforms and monitor parameters before and after each event. It also offers a 144-hour trend memory and a 16-hour full disclosure loop memory, enabling continuous monitoring. Silent thresholds can be set to discreetly record certain events, such as a drop in SpO₂ below 92%.
